Ninety One With 20 years of industry experience, Lambert has been a senior portfolio manager at CPPIB since 2014, responsible for developed market equity portfolios. He was also interim head of sustainable investing between 2018 and 2019, overseeing and implementing transformative changes for the plan’s approach. In this role, he led the environmental, social and governance (ESG) integration, engagement, and sustainability-related investment research across all asset classes. Prior to this he worked in portfolio management at Odey Asset Management and Och-Ziff Capital Management Europe, and investment banking roles with UBS and ABN AMRO, all with a European focus. The company's 4Factor team specialises in bottom-up, fundamental equity stock pickers, serving clients with regional and global solutions. Mui, who is currently investment director, will have an integral role in the investment offerings team and will be a voting member of the asset allocation committee. She will also be responsible for creating content and delivery of external communication of macro views, and curating market insight updates to help develop and grow Brewin Dolphin’s relationship with advisors across the 32-office network. “The new role will enable Janet to further support clients with her investment analysis and also help build brand awareness by increasing her presence as a leading voice in the industry and sought-after commentator in the financial media,” Guy Foster, chief strategist at Brewin Dolphin, said.
Global asset manager has appointed Ben Lambert (pictured) from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) as co-portfolio manager for its 4Factor European equities team.

UK wealth manager has promoted Janet Mui to head of market analysis.
Based in London, Mui will continue as the firm’s spokesperson, delivering commentary and analysis to the media. She has done over 120 televised interviews since joining the company in June 2020 and has received a number of awards including LinkedIn China’s key opinion leader 2021.
